I can't believe we are already 35 weeks! Baby and I are doing very well! We have another sonogram today where they'll measure the fluid, do a BPP, and this time they'll also get an estimated weight for her. So cool how they can do that. Anyway, the belly is definitely growing; we are now 3 weeks past how far we made it with the twins and I feel bigger (bellywise) with this one then I ever did with the twins. But unlike the twins, I have very little swelling this time and my blood pressure is staying in an OK range!
35 Weeks and 1 DayWe are all still here and baby girl is still growing inside! In fact, her fluid levels remained the same this past week despite the fact that I was up on my feet a little more then maybe I should have been because we were moving! Yup, we are MOVED! And we just got Internet access today; hence the delay. Hopefully soon though everything will be unpacked and I can put up some pictures of the boys, because they have been so cute lately and are getting to be SO big!
Well we just got back from the OB and had good news! Our fluid levels had gone back up into the normal range and baby girl is weighing about 4.5 lbs (right on track!). Because fluid levels can quickly change, we are still on bed rest, but I get to continue to do it at home. :) Thanks much for the prayers and support!
Two weeks ago we had a routine ultrasound for Baby girl to check her spine (it was the only part of the anatomy they weren't able to get at the previous ultrasound), heart rate, and fluid levels. A few days later we received a call saying they'd like to check the fluid levels again at our next appointment because they were a little low. The nurse encouraged me to drink lots of water and hopefully we'd get the levels up by then. Yesterday we had our follow up and our fluid levels had dropped even lower. Thankfully they are not so low that we need to be hospitalized, but they are low enough that I've been put on bed rest at home and given steroid shots to mature her lungs just in case. Our next appointment is on Tuesday. I know that God controls every little detail and knew about this long before we did (and thankfully made it possible for us to know about it), so we ask that you all pray for us in this. We are 31 weeks right now and every day counts. Even though she'd be fine if she was born now, we'd rather not have to do another NICU stay. Thanks much for your prayers!
Baby Girl is doing great! We had an appointment yesterday and we are now 29 weeks along! Last time she was so active that they had a hard time getting a good picture of her spine, so this time they did another ultrasound to see if they could get it. While she wasn't as active this time, she was in a tough position to see the spine, so they still couldn't get a great picture of it. Not a big deal though, especially since everything else is looking good. Right now, she is a night baby. She loves the quiet when the boys aren't around and she has Mama and Dada to herself. Unlike the boys though, she doesn't like to "play". When we were pregnant with the boys, my husband used to poke at them through the belly and they would kick back at him, we called it 'playtime'. This little girl though is the opposite...when he pokes at her, she hides deep in the womb so he can't reach her as well. It'll be interesting to see what she's like when she comes out! And speaking of due date...we put up a calendar to guess the due date, her weight, and length. I suppose you can guess gender too, and if the ultrasound is wrong, you might easily win! I cannot believe we are already 26 weeks along. Just to think, that with the boys we delivered 6 weeks from now! It's going so so fast. Although I'm sure once the summer heat hits (it gets HOT where we live) I may not be thinking it's going so fast! Anyway, Baby Girl is doing well and growing. We had our 25 week appointment last week and everything checked out perfect! This is super exciting for us, because by this point in our last pregnancy I was beginning to swell and having pretty consistent contractions. But this time the only thing I feel is her moving and shaking! We also did the 1 hour glucose test, and since I haven't heard back about it I'm going to assume we passed. Last time we barely failed and had to take the 3 hour one (which we passed just fine), so that is also a huge relief! The doctor also mentioned that we get to have another ultrasound done because they couldn't get a picture of her spine (not that they think anything is wrong, everything else looked great!). We are excited to see her again. :) It's strange not seeing her all the time like we did with the boys, so it'll be good to see her again.
Well, we are settling into our temporary place and now we have two computers again! We have a new wireless router though, so we are still working through the kinks of getting that set up, hence the lack of posting. We are all doing pretty well though!
Girl! We had our 20 week ultrasound yesterday and everything looks great! We are 21 weeks, but because of all the traveling and whatnot we were unable to get in until yesterday. It was exciting though to see her moving!
Yup, that's right, he put his sippy cup in it and was using it to drink out of. Guess he thought it would insulate his water and keep it cool!
