Ahh...a moment to rest...and catch up!

While this past week has been busy, keeping me from blogging, I haven't stopped reading the blogs I enjoy (*yay*) or taking at least one picture a day! Sometimes, this can be challenging, because some days, especially rainy days, we don't do a whole lot. These past few days were very challenging because BP had some minor surgery done, which meant we were up early a LOT and stayed at home for him to heal. But, some great opportunities presented themselves! Like on Wednesday night, the night before the surgery, when our ONE car starting making lots of not good noises. It was about 8 PM, when we were heading back from church, that we heard these wonderful noises. Thankfully my husband headed out to the minivan and figured out what was wrong. But it was a dirty job!

We don't often let the boys watch TV (in fact, we don't own one) or DVD's. But, occasionally we will pop in a "Little Pim" language DVD (we have the Spanish and Chinese sets). They are absolutely captivated by it!
Lately, BP loves playing hide-and-seek. He plays it with the strangest things, like Mommy's towel that she used to dry her hair!
On Saturday we attended a going away part for our family at my husband's bosses place. It was so sweet of them to throw us this party, and we will definitely miss them. We went through so much with them, and it is hard to part, but it will be a good thing to move on! They gave my husband a beautiful plaque and a wonderful lei. They also gave me this awesome smelling ginger lei!
Sunday we attended our last beach baptism. One of the awesome things about living out here is the fact that they can do baptisms at the beach, year round! We love it tons and are going to miss it...
Ahh...Mr. BP...as busy as ever. He has taken to daily getting out of his crib, running around, then crashing on the ground. I found him yesterday asleep on the beanbag chair. Such a sweet kiddo...

Hi Mom! Your link came up in my alerts. I'm the mom (two boys of my own) behind Little Pim! Thank you for the kind words. I'm so glad your sons are enjoying Spanish and Chinese. BP & LT are adorable. Congrats on the upcoming baby #3! I hope BP feels better and heals quickly.
